Blog Journal #8

 When designing my website, there were a couple principles I followed when making it. I made the format of each tabs very consistent and similar to one another, in order to not make it confusing, I made it so that navigating through the tabs was easy, giving it both a regular tab menu, plus a table of contents on the home page. The one thing I disliked about this assignment was how once you picked a template for a website, there was very little that would happen if you would try to change it into something else, which did kind of force me into doing a specific topic that was different from the one I wanted. The only time I would probably use a website, and require implementing these skills that I used here, would be if I become a writer, or enter the writing field, and advertise my services and/or works.

I do not use any AI tools when doing work. For starters, the only time I would ever have to use something like AI is for writing. In order for me to improve my skills in writing, I can't use something like AI, which has been known to have very basic mistakes in writing, such as grammar errors or terrible ways to explain things. It's also the same reason why I wouldn't use it for academic works, due to me always avoiding common mistakes that AI can definitely make. 

I've only rarely used ChatGPT, and it was only for in class purposes. One time I used it was to create a class structure that I would use to organize topics that I would then discuss to my students in a high school Creative Writing class. It perfectly structured the different categories and elements that are part of writing. This still doesn't change my view on AI, as I only seeing it be useful in certain cases of assistance, but not as a viable way to do work. 

While AI tools may be of help in creating examples or models to use, I don't think they will enhance the productivity of people. I think that by using AI tools, if they don't come out as desirable as they need to be, they will end up causing people to redo work and slow down even more productivity. This is why I wouldn't use AI to improve my productivity. If I would ever have to use AI when teaching students, it would only be for when I am showing examples to students if I can find enough models that aren't created by AI.

    I loved all of the photos on your banners. I thought they fit your topic so well. I don't have many complaints with the CRAP of your website. However on the Home Page, the table of contents did not match the design of the rest of your site. It feels thrown in last minute. I would say matching your design would significantly improve the look of your site.

 I have both good and poor experiences with EME2040. I liked how this class introduced me to different tools and sites that I previously had no clue that they existed. I didn't like how this class used things from Microsoft at times, as they always seemed to give me trouble for no good reason, and I don't like how this class is structured in a way as if it is expecting me to be a teacher in my future career. Blog Journal #6

There were a few things I didn't like when I first started using Diigo. I am not a fan of how you have to wait for people to accept the invitation to get into the group, or at the very least, how the website doesn't even bother to let you know when you've been accepted into the group. Another thing I don't like is how, in order to perform certain actions, you are forced to use the Chrome extension. Lastly, I found the place where I can upload whatever link I wanted to be slightly confusing and a bit empty too. I actually found myself enjoying blogging quite a bit. One thing I love about it is how easy it is for me to formulate what to say here, in a way that it is similar to Google Docs, instead of being confusing like Word. I also enjoy how easy it is to send new blogs to my blog page, and how simple it is for me to check out my page without having any real problems. Blog Journal #2

During the few times when I used Microsoft Word, I had a bit of a rough time at first, but then, it was better for me later on. When I used Microsoft Word when I was in elementary school, I didn't like having to manually save my document every time I edited it. I hadn't use it or even tried to use it ever since until back in high school, where I tried to access documents that were stuck in Microsoft Word, but I was unable to do anything because I didn't have a Microsoft account nor paid for the subscription. It wasn't until I was in college when the school gave it to me as part of having a Microsoft account and had to use it for certain classes and assignments when I finally got the hang of using Word. That being said, I still prefer to use Google Docs. I prefer this over Word because it's much more accessible. I don't have to worry about manually saving things to my computer, I don't have to pay for it, and it comes automatically when making a Google accoun...
